ImageOverlayTool is a desktop application for overlaying, comparing, and adjusting multiple images.
This application is designed for local/offline use and does not provide a built-in account system.

2. Data We Process

The app may process the following data on your device:

• Image files you open in the app
• Project files (.iot) you save/load
• Local settings such as language, window size/position, and UI preferences
• Local application logs (when logging is enabled by your usage)

3. Data Collection and Transmission

• The app does not send your project/image data to the developer’s server by default.
• The app does not include built-in analytics or ad tracking.
• Data is processed and stored locally on your device unless you explicitly export/share files.

4. Local Storage

The app stores configuration and operational data in OS-managed local application directories.
You can remove this data by uninstalling the app and deleting app data folders from your OS profile.

5. Third-Party Components

The app uses open-source dependencies.
Third-party license information is bundled in licenses.json in distributed builds.

6. Security

Reasonable technical controls are applied in the app (for example, renderer isolation and restricted local file protocol handling), but no software can guarantee absolute security.

7. Children’s Privacy

This app is not specifically directed to children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when app behavior or legal requirements change.
